CN regression theory

Since Champs 2024 CN has been regressing at each consecutive international, and I have a theory as to the main causes of their recent disastrous performances.

1. Coaching talent: I don’t think the quality of coaches overall has gotten worse, but I think the region is pretty barren in terms of young coaching talent. Most coaches are retreads or been retained for a long time without improving.

2. Playing with purpose: when EDG were successful at champs and later in Bangkok, as well as Wolves in Toronto, they played each round with a clear plan/idea. Even if it was a mediocre plan or they executed it poorly, they at least had some intention behind their decision making. Now they play a lot less intentionally, like on autopilot.

3. Complacency: most of the teams look complacent to just do well domestically then get nervous or don’t take international competition seriously enough. Seriously, almost every CN team plays worse internationally even by their own standards, not just because of stronger opponents. They play even sloppier than before.

There are plenty of other reasons, like playing less disciplined and sometimes being too cocky to think that they can aim diff people individually.

There is regression but also there are teams which are getting good example tyloo if team put more efforts to get past EDG and BLG then we could an uprise
