thoughts on redraw

Looking at the reactions from the coaches and players online, this is genuinely such a horrible decision from riot and the VCT crew. Teams only had a day to prep for the next day which has now turned into only a couple hours.

It makes 0 sense to me how you can do a “random draw incorrectly” and need to redirect it to “make things fair”

Obviously theres supposed to be a procedure that got messed up, but as long as the draw was random youre doing so much of a disservice to the coaches and players especially.

That being said lets not act like santiago is some of mickey mouse tourney, but gentle mates might make playoffs by playing a ch0nese team and their regions third place and that’s honestly just not interesting to me.

Huge L from Leo Faria and whoever was behind this decision, moreso even than whoever made the mistake

like, i find it insane that this even fucking matters. why do you care if the match is slightly different, if the teams have to play each other in a random assortment anyways? either blatant rigging (probably not) or just pure incompetence, because this is unacceptable. i have no idea how to run an event like this, but even i know that you give people correct and sound information without changing it if they have to prepare.
