It's insane how they deal with losses man. I watch the T1 documentary and it's everyone just blaming someone else and not taking accountability, and over here alecks is addressing the whole team and their mistakes, while giving some good motivation to the team saying that they've been in this situation before, and they won Toronto. The team overall is a safe space for everyone, and you can just let it all out during team meetings if you wanted, and no one would judge you.

Also credit to Panda cuz I swear this guy has done absolute WONDERS for this team mentally. The breathing exercises, the massages mid game, the diet control to ensure the players are 100%... He needs some credit for the Stage 1 -> Masters Toronto run they had last year.

comparing any team environment with that t1 documentary is like comparing the average person to bin laden or some shit bro

I'm just curious, is the Korean work culture exactly how it is on these Korean Esports teams as well? You know, seniors not getting blamed, juniors are always scapegoats, people work hours on end and are absolutely burnt out every week...

not every environment but the prevalence is higher than normal

seniors not getting blamed

depends on where you work. from my knowledge gen.g, ns, and drx have quite a nice team environment. much like that, it depends in korea. obviously most people do not want to be treated like shit no matter the country, race, ethnicity. stereotypes come from somewhere, but they are exaggerated. not all indians work in call centers, right?

people work hours on end and are absolutely burnt out every week

this is probably the one thing that is more yes than no. since the start of valorant korea has had brutal schedules and the people in it dedicate their lives to the game. grind culture is strong not just in korea but in east asia, maybe even asia as a whole in general. as i understand it, indian people also go through this grind to prepare for the JEE no?

Grind culture is way more prevalent in East Asian countries though

Over here it's more of a grind to GET a job first. After that it's your regular work hours and you don't have to grind much cuz they prefer quality over quantity
