How does this team decide what maps to run single duelist vs double duelist?

Alym is a beast of a player but his OPing is nowhere near Koalas if it’s even good at all but Furias best maps are when Koalas on Omen (minus split Yoru) so how does this team even know what to prioritize when it comes to comps. I’ve never seen any omen player have stats like koalas (kickoff + check all time) but his OPing on Yoru is so impactful.

I’m worried when and if Yoru is nerfed he’ll be permanent smokes which clearly he’s good at but he won’t be the teams main OP anymore which Alym clearly seems to struggle at on single duelist maps. Hopefully doesn’t make Furia struggle long term post kickoff.

They prob dont want to stick fully on double duelist to have more tactical variety. So they picked up the maps where double duelist aint as strong or where alternatives are viable closely enough. Which are Abyss (Good DD but can be played with Single Duelist; Hell maybe it can be played without a duelist at all), Pearl (They use chamber which Koalanoob can extract good value with but its also one of their bans) and Haven (Most used comp is single duelist). We haven't seen their corrode tho but their map pool seems very well rounded overall
