This is going to be crazy. 16 direct invites? Which countries? And how will teams be formed?
basically countries which have highest rep in VCT currently will get it since points are based on that. So US, Turkey, Brazil,South Korea,China etc are guaranteed to receive direction invites more or less rest will depend on Stage 1 and Masters result and what country players win the most.
Edit- Add Chile too to the list of guaranteed invites they have enough players winning a bit in VCT Americas and I am sure their team will have Keznit and Kingg atleast. Also Czech ,Poland and Indonesia are also very likely to get the slots.
Seems like there will be multiple teams from each Countries. But will an ORG go together as a team? Or will all teams be divided with each representing citizens of their country in each teams?
For ex, will G2 get invited? And if they do will Jawgemo be playing for USA?
Nope multiple teams from one country can play in qualifiers but not in direct invites those will be picked by coaches. and Orgs won't represent as far as I can understand so far they have max 3/7 rule for players from one org so it will be completely country based . The only thing that's not very clear is who will decide the Coach of each country and how will that process be unbiased.
I mean there's no separate GC tournament here if some country thinks their GC player is one of top 5/TOP 7 player in the country I am sure they can select them normally just like everyone else but I don't think GC points will be counted in securing direct slots.
- Each country must appointed Coach by March 29
- Coach send by April 26
- Points earned by the fielded roster in VCT events tallies up a country's total points
- Top 16 by June 21 Invited
- Max 3 from Same team
I'm assuming GC players will also be involved? Is there a rule for that?

i also dont think theyd get in especially if japan doesnt get an invite but it sounds weird in either case

Wayne and Jinggg are hard carry the region
the dates are in the off season (oother than qualifiers) so i think there might actually be top strength national teams here, but theres always a chance of orgs not letting players go or having other off season plans that would interfere
