in vct/valorant i find that a lotta people root for a player or a core of players more instead of an org/team
if you're outside of NA, i guess it makes sense to root for an org/team cause some orgs in vct represent certain countries or nationalities

I think in esports there are less org fans compared to player fans unlike sports. Esports is still too young and most esports fans get exposed to esports in their teen age or older phase of life compared to sports. And from what I have noticed they tend to start following players rather than orgs in esports more.
People that hate bangwagoners are stupid.
Two main reasons are the people/team that they are bandwagonning mostly benefit from the extra fans with extra money later on.
Another reason is that a person should be able to root for a team if they feel like, people who don't want this most of the times just want to feel better about themselves for being an "og".

Only annoying thing about bandwgoners is when they bandwagon to a different team only when it achieves some success and act annoying and trash talk other teams riding on that team's success. Basically glory hunter bandwgoners. Like I have been noticing a lot of ns and ag bandwgoners who act like this recently. It also happens more in apac of Asia idk why. Happened with edg, geng, prx and t1 in past already.
most kids are gloryhunters which is why bandwagons exist. it prob won’t change since valorant is primarily watched by kids
