Shouldn't KPR be a more celebrated stat than total kills ? Barely winning a bo5 will always lead to more kills since you have played way mroe rounds ?

i get where you are coming from, but at the end of the day; the raw stats are more attractive

I think VCT should implement VLR rating 2.0 as a stat

if kpr was valued more than total kills, jawgemo from their match vs NRG ( https://www.vlr.gg/596417/nrg-vs-g2-esports-vct-2026-americas-kickoff-mr4/?game=all&tab=overview ) would have a statistically better game than both marteen recently and KK at champs grand finals (jawg 1.081 KPR, KK 1.067 KPR, Marteen 1.016 KPR)

also, Derke would probably have one of the best games in history vs ULF with a 1.4 kpr when it was just him farming an ascension team with two subs

ComeBack (one of the weakest links on TH so far) had 1.314 KPR vs Navi in the lower bracket too

the bo5 kill record is different id say because staying that consistent over the course of 5 maps is insanely impressive. also the fact that bo5's usually have higher stakes, so the pressure is also a factor
