nrg got outcalled by most teams at champs
because it improved from abysmal dogshit to pretty good? 2024 nrg igling was historically awful, now it's quite simple but good enough. Also idk where you got your whole "nrg were outcalled most games" argument when their attack sides were perfectly fine at champs. If a team gets majorly outcalled they don't win rounds on attack side outside of like kc kickoff 2024 level setplays
nrg had good fundamentals, won an insane amount of clutches, had good set plays, nobody was weak fragging
what they didnt have was anywhere near an igl the level of boaster or verno so they at the very least got majorly outcalled (everyone saw it) by mibr and fnc, they won so many hero rounds and man down rounds it didnt matter and mental cracked for the other teams
ethan is a good leader too just being honest never really done anything impressive in the midround

With boaster it's hard to say because out of the 7 maps they played 5 were either complete stomps or a stomp into a choke but some of those stomps (abyss in upper finals, lotus/sunset in grand finals) were on attack side and you cannot put up those scorlines on attack against good teams with bad igling, they weren't just rushing and deathballing with set util combos like old prx there was actual midrounding and pulling of rotations. Off the top of my head there was a round vs gx on haven where after figuring out the defence is leaning a they go b, then cancel the hit to plant c as a midround reaction to a cloud sova ult coming from a and pit to win the round. That is textbook good midrounding on haven.
You're just saying shit with 0 evidence and hiding behind eye test arguments because you're incapable of doing proper analysis. Nrg's controlled playstyle cannot work on attack side without either godlike set strats/macro (ala drx), major aim diff or at the very least solid igling
they would have prolly made madrid if they had bonk then other than that idk
