they still have a strong roster on paper and nearly every other team made a lot of roster moves so having them be 1st seed isn’t a hot take imo

1. played 2 offseason events, was shit in one, played ok in the second, i'll give them that
2. the other teams in china (drg, xlg, fpx, etc.) look much better in general
3. i don't trust autumn
4. i don't know how cb will fit into the team culture, as it's seemed pretty tight knit from before, and autumn as a coach has been seen to feed into that, and they might just not fw him
5. idk, i just don't like edg, probably just biased.

i'll still think they might make it, but not first.

We didn't get enough of EDG in the offseason so it's hard to say if they're going to be a top dog team again in china but I trust DRG even less. They've always been a flip-floppy team.
