give me some job hunting tips

i just want some basic job like mcdonalds but apparently even then its pretty hard to seize any opportunities

is stuff like going to store and handing resume in person a valid strategy? i hear mixed opinions about it and id like to know whether its effective or not

canada is absolutely fucked bro the only way your landing a job is if you have a connection or your willing to spam every single job listing on indeed and annoy them enough to reach out. most of the time though these low wage jobs get sniped as soon as they pop up. going in person can work but its luck based you need to get the right employee or the resume is collecting dust. im currently saving up money to leave the country ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Go online, look for jobs that hire, apply to every one of them

no, ronald mcdonald will personally come and shoot you if you bring in a resume like the boomers tell you. real talk tho thats really terrible advice.

apply for every job near you (that you want/are remotely qualified for) online. if your resume impresses 1 of the probably hundreds or thousands of jobs that are hiring in your area, then you might get a job.

also say ur a quarter indian/an immigrant to lowk end game phase and get hired

why is "go give resume in person" a bad advice, do they like never check it now?

i was born in canada and have canadian citizenship but my parents are immigrants so do i still count as an immigrant

its not horrible advice like it can work but usually a waste of time

and no u dont count but you can still lie on application you'll be more likely to get interviewed and just act like it was a honest mistake after your hired

sounds good imma add that to my resume

its not like im 100% lying so i should be good
