ethan, the fact that he got voted IGL of the year over valyn & people unironically think he deserved MVP over brawk proves it
i think people who think ethan deserved mvp are treating the award like a finals mvp, in which case i do think there's an argument

2024 jaw was nothing impressive, 2023 jaw was only good at champs, it was a fluke
2024 jaw was something else man, even on a terrible team he looked amazing, I'm convinced you really didn't watch him in 2024. 2023 jaw was world class at champs, but even at tokyo he was good. It also wasn't a fluke, eg were one of the most dialed in coordinated teams in vct, its just that contracts and shit got in the way and broke them up
2024 jaw had some incredible highlights, but that’s as far as it goes man. Just some clips. He was not consistently performing. Good duelists on bad teams look like OXY or Meiy, they don’t look like 2024 Jaw
2023 jaw was pretty ass at Tokyo, I’m honestly surprised you would say that. His grand final performance in particular was one of the worst ever by a supposedly elite player
