i wanna watch marvel rivals

I think the game is fundementally anti-competiive so I doubt the esport scene will grow much anyways. The viewing experience is terrible like even peak mayhem valorant or overwatch is probably easier to follow. But even if you can follow whats going on in rivals, it doesn't help the balancing of the game is non-existent, like fights are just solely determined by support ults in that game. I think it's best left to be for casual play

game popularity ≠ esports popularity

Especially so when the audience is so casual. Like even Rivals when it had its peak popularity had only around 50k people watching the esport stream iirc. And for the few who do watch, most people already recognise how unbalanced that game is and balance isn't a priority for MR devs they'd rather release as many characters as possible as quick as possible. So the esport will probably only ever lose viewers as people recognise how worthless the game is competitively.
