Group Stage

The tournament started with the group stage, where each team was matched against four out of five other teams, with the top four teams moving on to the playoffs. Emerging as the clear top team was Gen.G, going 4-0, with only one close match against Paper Rex. In second place was surprise threat FPX, with a 3-1 record. With a roster bolstered by the sScary 's return to competitive play, FPX found upsets over both Paper Rex and G2, with their only loss coming to the undefeated Gen.G. Rounding out the playoffs was the aforementioned Paper Rex and G2, each going 2-2, each finding two wins against Nova and Bilibili, who filled out the bottom two, missing out on playoffs.

Playoffs

The four teams coming out of playoffs were seeded into a gauntlet style bracket, placing Gen.G directly to the grand final, FPX in the semifinal, and Paper Rex and G2 meeting in the quarterfinal. Starting in the quarterfinal, Paper Rex notched their third win against G2 of the year. The teams traded the first two maps, both ending in close 13-10s, but the third map was a blowout for Paper Rex, Jinggg dominating on Phoenix.

Moving to the semifinal, Paper Rex made quick work of FPX in the rematch. A swift 2-0 brought them to the grand final, where Gen.G awaited. For more than a year, Gen.G has had Paper Rex's number, defeating them in all six of their last matches. However, with Paper Rex's new addition, the tables had turned. The first map went Gen.G's way, but Paper Rex dominated the next three maps to win the tournament. d4v41 was a star throughout the grand final, and was named MVP of the tournament.

d4v41 was moving different on Chamber.

With this win, Paper Rex's form looks to have not dropped a bit from their successful 2025 season. With Kickoff coming around in just a month, expectations will be as high as ever for Paper Rex.
