As much as I hope for leo's return as the next guy

I think his return might sour our impression of him, because there is no way he can replicate his prime form right away, especially if he leaves fnc (very likely). I feel like he was so good and the community glazed him so much, that we can't really expect him to not qualify to an international, not putting up jaw-dropping numbers which I feel like is kinda unreasonable expectation when he was really sick, forced to stepped down and (let's say he returns) has to catch up to the competitive scene that he has not been very active. Of course he's still gonna be better than a lot of players but for a player of his caliber, we will always expect more (unreasonably so).

not true! leo is in fact one of the most skilled players to touch the game and he always will be. even if he returns now, he would still be a better player than someone like riens. did you know he played really well even when he was sick?
