I don't think the last three games can erase the fact that he is undoubtedly pretty shit
s1mple had multiple chances to earn his way back into tier 1 but he couldn't perform to the point that Falcons didn't even want him. While he was on FaZe he averaged a 1.11 rating (broky has a 1.12) and only a 1.06 on Falcons which let's face it he is sadly just not him anymore.
He was brought on to be a star AWP and these were the results, what do you think does he deserve yet another chance?

S1mple was litearlly barely playing the game at the time. He played for the very same team (well not the exact same roster obviously) at the last major and was better than broky. I don't give a shit about his perfs on the worst falcons roster ever when he didn't give a damn and knew it was for a very limited time and didn't care about coming back. I look at the last major and I see all I need to know.
You honestly believe that "GameSquare" (owns FaZe Clan) who is worth 80M+ and makes 12M a year in revenue couldn't afford him?
Well they did just lose two rounds in a row to ninja defuses and they're looking a little shaky..
