my reels is full of perfume collectors and im kind of interested in buying some, I'd like some advice
here's my short list of what I'm thinking of buying (in no order):
Born in Roma EDP Intense
YSL Y EDP
Armani SWY EDP
JPG Le Male Elixir EDP
LV Imagination
Bleu de Chanel EDP (Already have this so if there's any on the list that are similar that I won't need lmk)
not too interested in dupes unless they're really good
lemme rank them in my opinion
1) LV Imagination - genuine one of the best fragrances ever made, compliment getter only problem is the price
2) Born in Roma EDP Intense - really nice smelling as well, smooth and lavender vanillaish
3) YSL Y EDP - a fresh fragrance that you can wear anywear, very versatile
4) Armani SWY EDP - not my favourite cuz of the chestnut and leather but still decent
5) JPG Le Male Elixir - my most hated jpg by far, the tobacco is too strong

ASSUMING YOU HAVE BUDGET TO BUY LV IMAGINATION YOU SHOULD GO IN PERSON AND TRY LV METEORE,LV LMMENSITE,LV OMBRE NOMDE I PERSONALLY LOVE THOSE
AND TRY SOME PARFUME DE MARLEY,XERJOFF,GOLDFIELD AND BANKS I CONSIDER THOSE SAFE FIRST TIME NICHE ONES

No bro took time to collect a lot of stuff and learned to buy from websites for cheaper and stopped wasting excess money by buying from retailers

Smells so so good, only downside is weak projection if that matters to you
Armani Stronger With You was reformulated in November 2024, where they took out the toffee and cinnamon notes and replaced it with chestnut.
From what I read this does affect the scent in more of a negative way.
YSL Y lowkey sucks.
LV Imagination is legit, so is Pacific Chill. But PC is more summery.
I like Le Labo's fragrances and Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club is what I wear for winter. I think it's great.
I tried Kilian's Angels' Share and Angels' Share Paradis & On the Rocks and found it to be a bit too overpowering.
Tbh I personally feel like you only really need two fragrances - warm weather and cold weather. Any more than 4 or 5 you're probably too far down the rabbit hole.

i got the YSL Valentino and JPG u mentioned here’s my opinion
YSL: my favorite, fresh and smells luxurious, some say it’s ‘woody’ but i got no clue what that even means tbh. downside jt sucks during the winter and lasts only for like 4ish hours
Valentino: it’s alright it’s pretty fresh and has a strong first spray bht other then that it’s just like a midgrade from YSL
Jpg (yellow bottle): Sweet Vanilla smell after like 5 mins. First spray smells oddly fresh, but really great lasts for a while as well. great for winter
