I fully support the game changers scene but it really does suck how there is always so much more hate and drama than there is in tier 1 VCT. It’s meant to be a “safe space” of sorts but the players get so so much unwarranted hate, especially trans and non binary players, and now the whole G2 team is getting flamed because of Amy’s fuck up. The people on Twitter celebrating at Akita crying are disgusting losers and there is zero place for that. I’m a casual viewer and not really a part of the scene but it all just turns me away when everything I see in this scene is so negative and hate filled.

And yet still does not has as much hate and drama as in T1 in fact most of the time its actually a pretty chill scene
Yeah you’re probably right about the drama part but I still hold on to the idea that it is a far more hate filled scene overall because of all the misogyny the players go through as well as everything else
Drama is the only way there is for people to care about GC, it's good marketing ngl.
