I am looking for a decent pair of headphones or iems that I can plug into play val or listen to music. As someone who has been constantly using a hyperx gaming headset, is there such thing as a non-gaming audio device suitable for fps games and music?(Budget around 400$)

I have looked into beyerdynamic and I notice streamers mostly use the dt990s. I'm not sure if I want those ones as I heard they aren't really suitable for fps games.

I have the DT770 and theyre so fine for fps, if you want to get a big difference in sound youll have to get iems and those sacrifice a lot of quality when it comes to music imo

Only got a "cheap" 200€ headphones so cant give you direct recommendations
Im sure youll have come across them during your research already, but rtings.com used to be really good for objective numbers
Be sure to double check on reddit after though, since companies are dicks when it comes to headphones and do revisions with varying quality all the time (that the reviews wont/rarely catch)

(Blown up in size since Ive last used them so not 100% sure on their quality nowadays)

i use sony xm4s, they're great for me not only for gaming but listening to music too. on the phone app you can make a custom eq to be suited to what you like, and it also has noise cancelling control!
