I think its obvious by the pick rates in just the off season, we are entering a
double duelist "mosquito" Yoru and waylay comp, with no sentinel and double controller omen or astra and viper(maybe harbor fills here idk yet he's new enough still)meta...
With very little sentinel play in general, and a mostly single recon initiator but potentially double initiator.
As a sentinel player (the role), im honestly not happy about it but welp its my opinion
How about you all. What are we thinking, and what would be your favorite meta... For me, its when i can watch double duel, double senti, double init and double controller all together and each is viable (sure agent compositions will change map to map but overall archetype) with both fast and slow teams existing... Otherwise this just becomes too fast or too slow and it bores me sometimes

last year's meta esp after tejo nerfs was so good and healthy, just about every agent was being played.
doesn't change the fact that they are the most viable sentis alongside viper
We could see some viper deadlock too since it can be solid anti vs the mosquito comps

skuba played for a total of like 4 weeks and because of his impact on viper lurks/clutches won champs what are we talking about
if not then at the bare minimum Leaf is miles better than nAts on viper in 2025 😭😭

it's crazy how riot killed sentinels in general and the formidable meta we had at champs as a whole. We had the best senti meta ever, it only needed slight tweaks for it to be literally perfect, and instead they literally killed classic sentinels with changes that made 0 sense at all
True... Like there is ZERO reason to play a sentinel instead of viper, their stall can be ignored and the aggro sentinels offer too little to pick over yoru and need more setup than yoru

Nope... Honestly the flash was 55% of the reason for her kit, like it did so much for a signature that even some relatively weaker trip and mollies worked. Because the flash compensated for it... Now the flash does not compensate for the information cycling and its basically not worth playing vyse anymore
her best gimmick is being able to stall for the longest time in the game for your teammates to rotate
Honestly arc rose did more because it was free, it was her tool for attack that made it make sense to use.
But they need attack stuff to actually be worth picking over viper
They did kill vyse. Chamber was fine, sage and deadlock are ok, but in general the pickrates are down from like 31% down to only 10%
