for example, yes. unserious medical problems is an excuse for not getting enough exercise. the more serious ones, however, along with pregnancy and medications, have no basis in diet in the slightest. also, yes, people having more fat than others as a genetic reason is true, however you wouldnt be overweight with just that, which point i concede.

your body also is more likely to try to hold onto weight if you're born underweight or early, while you are correct, a lot of things can make it difficult.

You gotta build muscle, bone density and ligament strength while your body is still building its template, if you don't build it now you will always have a hard time losing weight/getting stronger and you will be fragile. I highly recommend a contact sport or manual labor job for your developmental years, losing weight if you're overweight should be priority number 1 unless you have the frame for bear mode.
