I never believed that Cane was next up. I said it when M80 Sato Jett diffed him on Pearl. It was a Jett differential in every way...Oping, positioning, fundamentals. Canezerr0 farms bad teams but can't do it against the good players. Today, Timotino showed why he is the better prospect.
Also Timotino and Sato are both 18 so the young excuse doesn't work.

cane has been really bad past few months, plus hes not like a utility-savvy duelist so its not like he offers much outside of stats
I won't deny he has kinda fallen off recently but I don't think that's all there is to it. ENVY don't really look too familiar with their Abyss comp and it kinda shows, for the other 2 maps yes Cane was in peak form but he wasn't THAT bad. I think it's very fixable
sato in that specific match wasn't even doing all that great but yea I remember having the same thought too
damn sato is 18 years old and plays like that
no excuses for cane, time to be better or he should learn chinese asap
