Is this the worst take ever? Imagine you're by far the best player on an ascension winner (kaajak), tier 1 teams are lining up to give you a much bigger contract on a team that could compete for titles but instead you get rewarded with being stuck on a bad team with small salary and no chances of winning anything.

Yeah but this screwed over Apeks a lot, the whole synergy of the team is just gone because they have to trial a new team without their best player. Still think they wouldn’t have made it far but still is unfair for the t2 team.
yeah me too, you also can’t force t2 players to stay with their team, but that’s why I like the new format more for vct
a lot of ascension teams aren't bad, its legit only the case in emea where they have done nothing so far
They're pretty bad compared to t1 teams. I don't know any ascension team that wouldn't be at the bottom of the league
bbl pcific look quite good and would be your average emea team i feel like.
also its always hard to say since we never see these teams compete with t1 teams (saying this for all regions).
