Well Demon1 was relevant for 2/3rd of a year whilst Cned was relevant for 2 years overall or smth. Demin1 just had an infinitely higher peak

demon1 won the best meta's champs and isn't washed and a 1 trick opper
cNed still had a decent 2023, and you could say the same thing about Demon1’s success since 2023. And their one trick jett awp playstyles are very similar. Feels wrong calling one washed and not the other.

both came out of retirement for part of 25 and demon1 showed more promise (+hes playing more roles knowing he's not the duelist/chamber he once was, whilst cned is still adamant on playing jett and there's literally a better jett in his team)
omen is the closest thing to jett that isn't on the duelist role

xeus is NOT a better Jett, everyone was complaining that they didn't put cned on Jett on Jett maps even. also demon1 is not an op crutch really, he just seems that way because of how Chet decided to use him in nrg

Cned ofcourse, while yeah Demon1 had higher highs but Cned has been more consistent throughout his whole carreer. In 5 years of valo he has made LAN 3 years can't say same for Demon1.

At that time BCJ was best player in EG, even when Demon1 was subbed in ppl were confused why BCJ was benched, meanwhile C0M during that time who was underwhelming to say the least was kept on the active team. Also even with Demon1 it was pure miracle that EG made playoffs(100T chocked against MIBR to give EG the chance). Also Demon1 prior to 2023 was unknown and unproven, why would EG give a rookie a chance when BCJ was there who played decently at Champions with XSET and was one of NA's best initiator at that time just behind crashies

I feel like cNed actively puts more effort in than demon1 but that might be because his career is longer. i've seen cNed flexing from duelist to senti and smoke and found decent success compared to demon1. However, demon1 has been showing some promising sign on drg as a senti sub so finger crossed.
