Would he not be the perfect replacement if s0m retires? He can shoot, help with midrounding, has good vibes e.t.c. He is for sure the best replacement right?

Even so there’s no chance he’s choosing NRG over his boys at G2… he stayed in Tier 2 for a whole year for those guys. But if he does, NRG is winning it all next year
g2 will have a massive fall off. the leaf will finally fall off the tree. trent will become a veto main and go double negative, jawgemo will only play jett next year after playing 0 jett this year, and jonahp will become jonah hill
to replace what s0m brought they need a vibes guy more than a midrounder honestly, he was super important in pumping the rookies up
I mean valyn has pretty good vibes no? Not as good as s0m for sure, but better than any other replacement I can think of. And otherwise he ticks all the boxes
I view him as a decent vibes guy but also a huge choker which is an issue with a bunch of near-rookies. I remember after they barely won kickoff gf where they were massive favourites he said some shit like "I thought I had a curse in grand finals" in the winners interview which made me worried then the bangkok choke happened
s0m played great in the first two maps (especially lotus), and wasn’t good in the next two. He did okay the last map. Not awful but not good either.
I’m not saying either of them choked, bangkok loss was mostly on jonahp and leaf ghosting on the critical maps
Yeah that would probably be better. You never know though, maybe Ethan IGL would just work better for some reason
G2 still needs a title. Bangkok was the biggest fluke of all time unfortunately.

valyn is the most important piece of the puzzle, without him G2 do not qualify for a single international
I mean there is really nothing G2 can do to stop him from leaving since his contract is expiring. It's basically just all up to valyn if he wants to leave or not
valyn would probably prefer to stay in his core with jonah and trent they've been together for YEARS, and they didn't perform bad at all
considering valyn didnt leave his boys when they were in tier 2 siberia and rather chose to grind up, i definitely dont see him leaving now that theyre consistently making internationals
