I'm REALLY worried about the future of NA VAL

Do you guys realize that most of the good (90%) csgo players are already in VAL? And they cant win shit even with these 'more experienced and good' players?
Do you guys realize how bad it is?

They 'dominated' and won a title here and there when there was no competition. Now they are just a clown team.
Most of the good csgo players from EU/BR didnt even touch the game yet. Imagine the growth potential for both of these regions....

I would say like at least 15 to 20 players, but they won't come because of bad salaries and not much tournaments yet..

That's Val atm. The skill ceiling is nothing compared to CS. So peope who were considered washed and would never be able to attend a international lan. They're all over here being top of their region.

THEY REALLY NEED IGL AND COACH THAT CAN TEACH THEM WHAT IS STRAT

their gameplay is basically
" yay go kill", "tenz go kill"

only C9B that i see USE A FUCKING STRAT (thx to vanity)

yay, marved, and crashies is decent player,
but IF U HAVE NO STRAT (raw peek, enter the site without utility, no strat)

This is the stupidiest take i've ever seen. You have to stop trying to translate games. Being good in CS doesn't mean you are gonna destroy in Val. I highly doubt that if FalleN or Coldzera move to Val they will be better than Heat or Sacy. They won't.

LOL do u doubt about it? Coldzera is the best LAN player of CSGO history, he will destroy these chokers

U NEVER KNOW

HE IS JUST SAYING VALORANT AND CS GO ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GAMES. SO, DON'T ASSUME THINGS

Being completely different games is irrelevant when a majority of the top players have a history in CS. The problem here is good work ethic which NA players don't have. coldzera was the most hard working brazilian player on his team when they were still at the top and it definitely paid off based on his performance on LAN.

i always say this and keep getting downvoted, but i will say again

The current (na) val scene is "alive" because its a streamer game. Once the streamers are done with this game and switch to play a new and more hyped game its over.

i think you misunderstand something, the actual role of having these experienced players isn't to magically win every event

it's so that they can cultivate actual homegrown talent with the knowledge they have, so that they can become more complete players

in every esport eventually the old guard that came from another game will get phased out, and the best players will always be the ones that grew up with valorant, playing valorant as their first shooter

in 2 yrs anyone not named zywoo or simple can come to valorant from cs and they will not do anything lol
