PRX after Toronto

Is it good or bad someone explain it to me
Because i feel like people love to shit on highlighted teams (those who recently won an event/huge potential and hyped teams). I mean most team crumble after they win an international event so i can see prx being on a similar path as FNC. Thoughts?

they got massively counterstratted, which is what happens to most teams that win a trophy

however i feel like it was amplified like 10x because they looked like the clear favourite for champs especially after groups so they got prepped even more

if you watch the last couple matches they genuinely just look like they have nothing that they can do without the other team expecting it, theyre lost a lot of the time

ewc also doesnt help

I was talking about their whole tournament they only looked good vs g2 lost to fnc with a sub and completely threw a 9-1 lead this is NOT something a tournament favorite does simple as fuck. They looked mid vs bottom of the barrel teams and y'all were convinced they'r gonna somehow win the whole thing lmao that's just pure bias and delusion

I mean it was bound to happen. They went from masters straight to a 4th place at EWC and came back straight into Stage 2 and won out pacific. Then back to champs without any rest. Not even FNC were able to defend their masters in 2023 because of this. That and having split and icebox being taken out of the map pool kinda hurt them cause those were 2 of their best maps. And every team just banned sunset against them so they were basically fucked.

shit map pools, with 2 of prx best maps out (pearl & icebox) & other teams always banning sunset.Ascent being PRX best maps this Champs shows it

Map pool didnt help. A map pool with Split+Icebox+Pearl would've helped PRX much more than Haven+Abyss.
They are heavily counterstratted. PRX Lotus has to be the most studied map of all time. Their Sunset is banned all the time, Bind is obviously their's because of Raze.

considering these 2 points, 4th is way better finishing than it seems. It would've been better of they closed out against FNC and finished 3rd instead.
