I love the idea that riot is doing but I don't completey understand so are we going back to a 10 team league and then only during stage 2 playoffs the tier 2 teams come? which means no need for ascension? I assume thats what they mean right?

As a the only fan of the Spanish stage 2 merchants I think this is cool but also won't it feel weird to be in tier 1 for such a short time even with revaluation coming in 2027

i believe tier 2 can qualify to stage 2 ahead of time, not just the playoffs, but the entire split
So where do these extra teams fit in will they add 4 of them so the bracket still makes sense?

Yeah I see this being easy for Americas and China but emea and apac sound like a mess to decide the 4 teams properly
