A major Chinese CS streamer just said in his live stream that Valorant bought the rights to all BLAST CS tournaments for the live streaming platform Douyu, allowing streamers on that platform to broadcast BLAST matches. Of course, the requirement is that CS streamers on the platform have to find time to stream Valorant. This is too crazy.

it doesn't really matter cuz blast shot themselves in the foot with their new formats. Bounty has only top 8 on lan, Open has groups online, only 6 teams at the arena, Rivals is a glorified blast fall/spring final format, which wasn't well liked. check the invited teams for the last one https://www.hltv.org/events/7905/blast-rivals-2025-season-1 4 S-tier teams only

fucking fissure, starladder, thunderpick and pgl have bigger prize pools, blast are used more to just get in shape and that's it. tier 2 teams don't like going there because not so many tier 1 teams go there (can't farm vrs points), and tier 1 teams don't go there because you only get club share awarded after like 4-5 events in a year, meanwhile other TOs give club revenue directly after the event you play in
