feel like jett's fallen behind alot compared to raze yoru neon and even waylay now no?
Jett is still a viable option yea but to a very few players and even a very few teams now, People just play Yoru, Waylay, Neon, or Raze because of all the other util those agents have, Jett has Dash, Updraft, Knives and Smokes all for just herself. Jett used to be the most picked up Duelist and now they barely use it even in so called 'Jett maps'
Jett literally gets picked on Ascent, Icebox, Abyss and Breeze for standard meta comps. She's definitely lost her place to Neon in maps like Haven, but she is still a fairly solid agent in pro play. Clove is very much a ranked agent - smokes don't last long enough to play solo-controller in pro play and you get more benefits from playing Viper or Astra in double-smoke comps if you have Omen as main smokes.
Jett has fallen behind, but with very much valid reasons because she was far too dominant in the early years of Valorant. Raze started getting picked up in 2023. Neon started getting picked up in 2024. Yoru has been getting picked up in 2025. Waylay is definitely good now, but Jett would still be a lot of teams' main pick for maps like Ascent, Icebox or Breeze. I'm much more glad that the duelist pool is a lot more diversified because any agent can work as long as your duelist is comfortable with it and the strats behind it work.
I wouldn't mind Jett getting a double updraft again, but for Jett to be buffed, it needs to be in a way that improves some of the micro details of how she can be played on maps where she might have not been able to be played that way before. Just giving her some of her old kit feels a bit lazy in that respect.
