At first its just an issue of not being disciplined or bad mental but if it goes too long without being unchecked then it engraves itself into the team and even if the players and coaches try and play it off as a coincidence or a non-issue it becomes stuck in their minds and they start to worry about it especially if its happened multiple times before and has become a narrative.
