i think, prx had a better pearl than eg. maybe they wouldn't win but it wouldn't be like easy win for eg.

EG played well in grand finals you never wanna take it to map 5. And EG won on 2 of PRX’s map pics so if they thought they had a better pearl they would have picked it early than floating the map

yeah idk they thought they would "surprise" EG but yeah u wont do well if u havent practiced the comp enough and u are not fighting a middle of the pack team at the GF ... idk what they were thinking ... but now, they dont have that issue anymore and trust themselves more
