Just a VOD availability diff. Heretics banned both Corrode and Lotus through all of Stage 2 while G2 played a ton of both. Most teams assume a permaban means no prep but it was a trap card.
Yeah I hate to say it but TH coaching staff did an excellent job, which made the difference. I’m not too worried for G2 though, I think they’re considerably better than both DRG and T1
I don’t like the raze but double senti still seems viable if they just work on the way they mid default. There was never a threat of a B split or pushing into their spawn — it’s not an issue they have with Ascent though where they often take Market and occasionally push into spawn.
Yeah I totally agree, the raze was the weird part of the comp. A direct swap of raze and neon and I’d feel better about it. Even then, the map was still really close despite it being TH’s pick, so I don’t think there should be too much concern.
They played very scared and didnt take solo timings as much as they do
Usually jonahp, leaf, valyn get insane lurk timings and get very good map control but not this game
