idk why everyone's acting like GE getting terminated is guaranteed when they're literally one of the most active orgs in the scene content-wise. yeah their results suck but at least they're always trying new things and trying to get better

people forget GE has actual pc esports experience even beyond val :- they were in Overwatch(represented India), held fortnite world cup qualifier world records, dominated indian valorant before franchising. why does everyone want S8UL to replace them? they're basically a mobile gaming org with money. you really want people who don't understand PC esports running a franchise spot?

also from riot's perspective GE still brings indian viewership even with international players. starting over with a new org means rebuilding that audience from zero. plus GE fans are way less toxic than most other org fanbases, they actually engage with the team even when they're losing

yeah the results are dogshit but i'd rather have an org that keeps grinding and trying to improve than some content creators who think they can figure out tier 1 valorant. GE at least knows what they're doing operationally even if the results aren't there yet

Based on conversation with my fellow india,
I think GE must change ceo, their ceo too much interverence & involved with teams

I dont care who represents me as long as my country is represented and honestly I am appreciative of GE's content creation and dedication to valorant but they have definitely dropped the ball on viewership , Indian viewership hasnt kept in pace with the growth in playerbase and GE being only VCT representative from country are somewhere to be blamed for that too. Their insistence on creating rosters which have no stories, no connections absolutely nothing about them going and their results less I talk about it the better. Across 4 vct they are only team to never make it to playoffs where 8/12 teams do think about it it cant get worse while all the while GE kept reiterating that playing with indians would mean we wont win and hurt competitive integrity.
As for S8ul its getting more and more likely they will represent us next year if we will have slot whether we like it or not. Until last year S8ul didnt have money they were content org and that was only reason they couldnt try for partnership but now with EWC partnership and new investors money that's gone now S8ul has 10s of lineups no moree just BGMI and they have the biggest viewerbase in India biggest streamers everything there's nothing that GE can offer better than S8ul other than past experience bcz one thing that GE does good content S8ul is better than them in even that. Rest you may have already seen everybody dropped rosters for off-season S8ul is still paying theirs holding and competing , Binks and Mortal invited to VCT pacific finals , Binks is now invited to Champs Paris I think these are enough hints about where riot and S8ul are heading to.
