Ascension

Which team(s) that are currently in tier 1 will participate in ascension for EMEA? Will it be Apeks and M8?
As for all Ascensions, does only the winner make it to tier 1 or will there be 2 or 3?

There will be 2, both m8s and apeks are relegated

depends on the region. APAC both boom and Nongshim fight in ascension ( now bcz both boom and ns made playoffs/top 8 in points, they get to fight for their spot ), Same with emea m8 and apk relegated straight to t2 no ascension for them, two will promote. americas 2g relegated, one will ascend and cn ( still not decided, whoever performs better at champs b/w xlg and drg stays, other goes to ascension ( in this case because they made champs )

2 teams will ascend. Both Apeks and M8 got relegated. 2-16 in games (both VCT and other tournaments) for Apeks since winning Ascension. M8s was still much better just choked cuz of no proper IGL and the terrorist Goked.
