do you guys think its scummy to choose a new team to support after you picked one? even if the new team is around the same level or worse than the team you are no longer supporting?

Personally im against it but maybe thats just because im english and it is a huge taboo within football which is huge and tribalistic here.

(yes this is related to you know whos tweet earlier)

There's like a 15% chance he's baiting I'm ngl. Cause on stream he said he doesn't know anything about what's gonna happen this offseason. And he just did it after the Tex tweet.

They even did some trials last year, I'm hard pressed to believe that even if Zikz was staying he would be so final about next year's roster so early on.

I probably will quit watching val before I switch to another team anyway, I could never be a supporter for another team

which probably also means Zikz staying cause they wouldnt make that decision without a new head coach

Well I have watched football (soccer) for 15+ years now. And I exactly get what you mean. My stance is the same you can’t change your team.

as Eric Cantona once said, “You can change your wife, but not your favorite club (team).

As for supporting other team, If your team gets disbanded then sure I don’t think people take valorant that seriously as actual team sports like a religion.

No if you're not geographically tied to a team especially in Esports. Started out as a 100T fan because of the roster Sean built but after I fell out of love with the team, then followed KC a little bit because of marteen and now I'm settled with GX because of westside and grubi

Nothing wrong with stopping supporting a team as long as you have a reason to and not a glory hunter, just be you

my geographic team would probably be FNC so I really fucked up the choice there didnt I

No it doesn't apply to Esports in my eyes, geographically I mean like if you're a Londoner and you support a Scouse team or something that would be weird

So you supported a successful 2022 100T team, saw their 2023 performance, and switched to an uber-successful KC team in 2024, and then switched to a revamped, really successful GX team for 2025?

There's a word for this

No I supported 100T and KC before they were successful, I followed them right when their roster was announced, especially 100T because I've been a fan of Sean since his CS days so I left when he did, and Sean's 100T wasn't THAT successful either, assume all you want but I was lucky with my picks back then

Geographically some people won’t even have a team to support then
