Americas IGL Issue

A lot of the teams in Americas right now have a major IGL problem. They either have a new IGL, an IGL who is suspect at times, or an IGL that doesn't always have the best day calling-wise. These are the teams that I think should atleast explore other IGLs this offseason, drop who you would like to see on these teams:

Nrg don’t need to, Ethan might have his off days but he’s improved and is still improving

Valyn had shaky igling 2022 as well, and tgrd were inconsistent but they stuck together and look at them now

Zander looked really good and has slowly gotten better too. He's not had as many off days as some other IGLs in the league

That’s why I emphasize a lot on getting a proven experienced coach. They can also guide Zander into becoming a better IGL

I actually don’t think America has an igl issue. I think they have a coaching issue.

Look at Ethan he was a horrible igl a few times, but with Bonkar he is looking and improving to be a good igl

I think zikz is a decent coach, but a bad head coach. He’s shown that by having bad direction for the team, bad map bans, and many more. He’s suited for an assistant coach role

He's one of the reasons RRQ is as successful as they are right now. Warbirds + Ewok are the best theory crafters in VCT right now is what I've heard

Is it bad to ask for him to be an assistant coach, just feel like 100t always put an AC on HC and it goes bad. Did it with Jovi, MikesHd, and zikz

He wouldn't leave RRQ for 100T just to be an AC. RRQ is much more successful than 100T right now.

Maybe if 100T promised to partner him with Potter or something but even then I doubt he'd do it.

RRQ assistant coach but he coached quite a few decent rosters over the year including Peak Renegades, Peak OXG Academy also had a decent stint as TS too

Zander is fine for 100T but they seriously need to fix their roles like the only players on 100T who have clearly defined roles is Eeiu and Zander. Cryo is a duelist who can only really play yoru and jett, Asuna is a flash initiator (sadly not meta) and has a servicable but ultimately medicore duelist and 100T just put Kess on whatever they need to fill. Like I can't emphasise enough how having a player constantly flex around is exposing 100T to so many weakness, I think Kess while has been good he was not the right pick for 100T. And before any 100T fans come, yes I remember that they only got Kess 3 days before the stage started

Yeah kess looks uncomfortable and used incorrectly. It’s unfortunate but he doesn’t fit for them

Yeah he was not comfortable at all. You can see he was trying to solo defend the site instead of retaking when opponents had a set execute they were running which baited his teammates to walk into the site to help him and get owned. Or idk what the call was for him to stay on site and get eternally until dumped while his teammates try to flood in while he buys time.

Yeah exactly, but i think no matter what they did they were kinda screwed this year. Boostio not keeping up really put them in the worst spot.

Ironic that the two people zikz and Boostio saved them in 2024 to just doom them the next year

C9 are fine… Mitch just has to play more fade or sova
Loud have had one stage and a couple close losses

If mibr don’t show a decent showing at champs sure
