NRG fans are just taking the first chance they got after NRG finally became a good team to shit on Verno and call him bad, even saying Brawk has more individual/mechanical talent than him (straight cap if you’ve ever seen Verno when he actually decides to pop off). Before he even took the IGL role, Verno was one of the top fraggers on MIBR and easily the best player after Aspas.

Everybody’s acting like it doesn’t take time for a 19-year-old who’s never IGL’d before to adapt to the role and balance performance with calling. And he’s actually been improving a lot in the last matches, he even said in interviews that he’s still learning how to balance his aim with calling, and that once MIBR’s map pool improves, things will get easier for him.

That being said: Verno > Brawk

brawk is insane, but the fact that verno was a top 10 player in americas last stage while being in a team with aspas is seriously impressive

verno was a top rated player at toronto despite his team playing shite around him

He’s a great player, and honestly whole MIBR needs to get back to what they were. Everyone’s had individual drop-offs, even Aspas. I’m sure Verno’s gonna get back to being insane
