If G2 wins champs does that make Valyn the greatest NA IGL? He just need that one international trophy. Individually he already is such a heavy fragger

the only person in the conversation with him is johnqt and the only reason hes not clear of john is the no trophy
based on individuals valyn is literally miles ahead of all other americas igls

i think he was talking all time, at this moment valyn easily clears any na igl but in NA history fns is still above him

If you judge based on individuality and mechanics, Valyn is top 2 top 3 in the world next to munchkin, nAts. But IGLs aren’t judged based on their individual stats, it helps tho fs it’s a massive plus.

Why do you all underrate Johnqt dude has been great the entire year even being the highest rated player on Sen at times. And his calling while flawed at times is still top tier more often than not.

unfortunately hes been choking recently especially against g2 when it matters

You mean their one most recent game? Yeah sure he underperformed as did the entire team? I don’t see why one game would grant such a massive gap between him nats munchkin and Valyn. But he’s been getting severely downplayed even prior to that.

Sens inability to beat G2 when it matters is what is holding johnqt back, he can fry against the mid teams in americas but can never win against actual competition.

The other two igl mentioned have also failed in beating G2. This year, and despite losing before Sen have beaten g2 twice. Why would beating a team hold back the igl specifically lol.

He just always gets outcalled and unfortunately is the deciding factor in those g2 games. Valyn, Nats, Munchkin are all better shooters, nats and valyn are both better callers. Johnqt is a top 10 igl but theres a considerable gap between him and the foremost

What makes you think Valyn outcalled john in the previous game?

#26

Also what indicates them being better shooters?

I am not underrating JohnQT that’s why the question mark for Valyn. I am aware of John having a masters trophy.

This was meant to be to the first response more so tbh. I think saying Valyn “clears” John is crazy but still why do you believe nAts and munchkin are above them.

Bro my man Boostio dropped disasterclass after winning stage 1 in 2024. Never recovered.

Ofc it’s not only the goats EDG beat the favourites

wuh? Champs has never been won by a favorite going into the tournament. 21 Gambit were favorites but lost to Acend, 22 Optic/FPX/PRX were favorites but all lost to LOUD(you could say these guys were also favorites but they had just bombed out of the previous international), only in 23 did a "favorite" win in EG and even then FNC and PRX were more favored over EG.

But 2024 I believe majority of people always picked the team playing against EDG in their run to the title
