im starting yr 12 in like 3 days can anyone give me tips im doing math chem and physics
just be consistent , make formula sheets , give extra time on weaker subjects
solve shit ton of numericals of maths and physics
and learn the shit out of chem (memorize everything like a pastor does the bible)
u dont need to study more than 2-3 hours a day just dont push urself too much and dont give up when u are at lows
hey man, my advice as a student who's taking his a levels in 2 months time is to literally not start things too late. This is in general for anything - homework, consults, whatever. i regretted not spending my time more wisely in the earlier half of this year and am now cramming work as i speak (so don't be like me pls). but yeah, subjects wise, idk how it works in malaysia but i assume the things u learn are similar to us here in singapore for the a level curriculum, one thing i can say is that maths can be a shit hellhole of a subject if ur not that math-inclined like me so what i did was to build on my foundations first (shi that i was still weak in even during my o levels), then proceed to attempt past year prelim papers from other schools and ten-year series. hope it helps and sry i cant help much cuz i literally take maths econs history geog and general paper lmao (totally different subj combi :(( )
I did maths physics and history and got A*AA in that order. Honestly for maths some of the mechanics stuff in physics really helps out and makes understanding that part of maths much easier. If you are good at maths anyways and actually listen in class (way more important than any revision/homework you can do as maths is all about understanding and hopefully you have a teacher which will help you with that) you will be just fine. Physics however is a different ball game, it's not just about understanding but about applying that to a mark scheme and a shit ton of content, physics is more like dog work you just gotta keep going until you know it all (which I kinda didn't do as I'm a classic ADHD valo player but got away with it). Chem I can't speak for but from my friends who did it they said it was similar in content to physics but slightly easier to understand. Good luck man sure u will do just fine.
