It should be only 1 team that qualify over that and If I'm being honest it should be none teams players coaches change through the year some teams they become better some become worsen even if they don't change nothing so it's trash system

how about this:
winner of stage 2 will qualify to champs and the 4 teams with highest champs points will play a double elim qualifiers where 3 will qualify 1 gets eliminated? 🤔
Realistically coming top 4, in stage 2 already gives you an advantage over teams who have performed consistently throughout the year before falling off as stage 2 playoffs begin. If a team is still unable to catch up, to teams ahead of them in champ points despite coming top 4, it shows just how bad that team was for the rest of the year. Those teams don't deserve to go champs if they're that bad for the other 2/3 of the year.

Huh they look horrible them winning bangkok should not determine if they go to champs what's the point of watching the playoffs games there no fun if a team is eliminated and you know they still qualify and in mibr case they didn't even make playoffs there's no enjoyment of watching playoffs really unless every spot matter

Best system hands down. People literally get paid thousands of dollars to sleep through meetings to come up with this stuff. We're just people on the internet.

People literally hate on MiBR because of this just so you know. The system isn't perfect I can agree but you can't call them undeserved just because they played bad in one tournament

I think it's the other way around.
If a team can't reach top 3 in their own regional bracket, and they didn't get enough points to be first among the teams that also didn't get top 3, why should a better performance earlier in the year mean they're prepared to do well internationally?
Meanwhile, most of those teams that are "bad for the other 2/3 of the year" won't have the same roster as they did when they weren't getting results.

this could be interesting, but I think that this system doesn't reward good stage 2 performances. I would tweak it a bit, top 2 of stage 2 make it, and then places 2-6 play double elimination qualifiers where 2 qual and 2 eliminated. Otherwise, I really like this idea!
Point system just should be qualify for last chance qualifier. Top 3 each region on Stage 2 will go to Champions. Top 2 highest point beside top 3 stage each region will be compete in lcq for remaining champions slot.
