Rawkus said FURIA paused the game, TenZ clarified that RIOT was the one who actually paused, because of a jump people are making with every agent since the begining of the game. Basically RIOT paused the game for 15 minutes without a valid reason, that pause helped SEN gather their thoughts and get beck to the game, while stopping FURIA's momentum and ending up with FURIA's defeat. So RIOT basically helped SEN win, they were favored by the organizers.

What really pissed the BR fanbase so much is that they made that banter on twitter after literally being favored by the organizers. FURIA was just robbed by riot and we still had to take that shit from SEN? That was unaccaptable and a very good reason to get enraged.

yes the pause was on pretty unfair point since FURIA had an motivation boost after winning a lot of rounds, but the reason they paused it was because of FURIA who had an "unfair boost on C site at haven" which was not that unfair since you can do if you practice a lot.

please do not flame the Brazilian fans neither the sentinel fans

we're all here because of esports, cheering and for the games :)

Exactly the unfairness of the PAUSE triggered the brazilians. We were made fun of after being literally robbed by the organizers, escalted quickly. I can't blame the BR fans for being mad because of that.

I have to desagree, it wasn't because of FURIA, it was because Riot organizers don't even know their own game, they don't even know that that jump is made by every agent since beta, so... Or they don't know their own game or they intentionally helped SEN. Both look really bad for RIOT.

yes. the boost has been recognized since the beta. i don't know why would they have that long of an pause because of it.

they did have an small update on the boosting more than half an year ago, there haven't been anything commented on when especially for e.x. FNATIC & LIQUID and probably more (don't know, but probably yes) used these kinds of boosts on split and more.

but i still WOULD NOT SAY THAT RIOT IS HELPING OUT SENTINELS TO WIN THE GAMES (this is just stupid if you think so, sorry to say)

I don't support death threats and I didn't do those. Just showing why the fanbase got so mad, there's a reason for that. Imagine your football team lose by an illegal goal and the other team starts trashing your team knowing they won because of that? That would trigger people, just saying.

Have you considered maybe the technical pause wasn't to screw over your team on purpose? Maybe your teams would get better if they weren't hiding behind and excuse every time you lost. The fact that you're crying about it on a forum is just sad man maybe you know it wasn't intentional you are basing everything of speculations right now so why don't you wait for a official response by Riot before you start crying about it.

Maybe there is an actual reason for a technical pause YOU don't know of? There are definitely more than two options but you chose two options so that no matter what you can say brazil lost because of a dumb technical pause.

What other occasion did Brazilians complain in valorant? I commented a while back during masters 2 and got flamed by a bunch of br fans because I was talking about how many spots brazil gets in champions and masters

tbh the fact it's been in beta since doesn't change anything. Before an event teams are given a list of exploits that aren't allowed to be used. The cypher cam on breeze is one of them.
This was confirmed on Tariks stream where Vansilli - caster for val. Confirmed it.

Like, it's a shitty situation. However at least they were made to do a tech pause, than get DQ for knowingly using something that was explicitly told not to.

I'm assuming that's what took so long. either decideing to let them play on, or DQ. Because if they had a list of exploits (riot list. the jump is by far not an exploit), and still did it. That's a more serious issue as it's making a judgement based on the intention behind ignoring the exploit list, or just forgetting.

Apparently it was by boosting with a KJ turret, or maybe Riot assumed that and than it ended up being the skill jump. IDK I've heard both. But if people actually believe it was an intentional pause by Riot to break momentum then your just a fucking idiot.
