What's the best part to upgrade in a pc?
Currently in a AMD Athlon 3000G (pre-historic cpu) and 8gb RAM.
MotherBoard: A520MH 3.1

any suggestions?

i just found something
i forgot your motherboard is am4
you can try and get a ryzen 3 4300g ( has a stock cooler which is good enough, no need to buy a cooler ) for like 80 euros and your 8gb's i am assuming ddr4 should be fine if you want you can pick up a new 16 gb kit but don't mix the memory if you are buying new then take out the old one

From what I hear is mainly people either upgrade ssd or graphics card in general

ssd will do nothing for an athlon nor would a graphics card
if anyone were to upgrade from here they would have to throw this out

Tbh i would completely get a new rig if I were u. You're probably using an old motherboard so individual part upgrades might not be compatible anyways.

its in his budget
it has 4 cores 6 threads max clock is 4ghz

if you want the most effective upgrade without breaking your bank, get a new stick of ram of the same kind you have rn and make it dual channel for 8 gb - > 16 gb ram should see a 10-15 percent improvement in most games
