Asuna's like Jamppi... the moment he gets dropped, someone's gonna pick him up, because he's very easy to work with and is a net positive for any team he's on (expect maybe 100T I guess)
Asuna's a good floor raiser. His team will always fight for a spot in playoff. But he's also not the world beater in today's game. You won't expect him and his team to be winning splits or masters/champs. His team in today's game, they're guaranteed to not go dead last but that's it.
He's insane he just has not figured out his priorities yet or his priorities are different. Maybe he just doesn't want to win. He's fine with regular paycheck stealing as long as he can have a banger couple of matches per year.
