Sen 2024 was clearly carried by tenz and Sacy out of the server and to a decent extent in it, this is no shade to their current players I like them a lot but they clearly don’t have that extra gear you need to lift a trophy that Sacy and tenz gave them. They feel very much like drx of old who just 5-6th every event.

I think it’s 2 in NA 3 in EMEA and low-key everyone in pacific except t1 I think you can maybe argue 10 teams tops if u wanna throw blg and edg in there but in reality we’ll know the true contenders after groups I don’t see every team hitting their peak that means that many teams can win
Cause Americas has been shit this year. The 3rd best team fell off no one below the top 3 has even come close to the top 2 until a few days ago and they both still looked better comfortably NA is 2 good teams and 10 mid to crap teams. I could sen finishing 4 at champs I just don’t see them breaking through

I low-key don’t really think their is a clear favourite rn it’s defo not one of the emea teams it’s not any NA team I think if u had to default to a team prx is fair I just think this champs comes down to 1 can u play corrode and beat most teams and 2 are u the best abyss teams if u can be both ur gonna go deep at champs even if the rest of ur maps are mid
im not saying that they're gonna win, but this sen team has a higher ceiling than the 2024 sen team. they're just more inconsistent. but because they have a higher ceiling, they can easily just go on a run if their players happen to be in form.
I don’t think that’s the case narrate John and zekken and zellsis cancel out bang is no where near tenz and narrate struggles most with what sacy and tenz covered up which is that consistency is the massive games he farms in regular season but struggles when it’s the big matches. I just think bang is not the explosive playmaker and leader tenz was and this team lacks that leader
that's what im saying. tenz and sacy are overall better due to their consistency. but bang and n4rrate have higher ceilings than them, that's why this team still does have a decent chance to win. all it takes is for them to be online.
Narrate defo has a higher ceiling I don’t think bang does tenz was the guy on that team bang has never been that guy on his team outside of his mid af 100t teams he’s a top player but not the best smokes player itw like tenz was narrate I agree I just worry he’ll continue his inconsistency in the big games
As an EDG fan, I have seen first hand how your path to top 3 at Champs can vary hugely in difficulty. EDG had an easier path to the UBF, with their only huge test being Sen in UBSF. That being said, if Sen can get a decent group and the playoff bracket works in their favor, I see no reason why they couldn't make the UBF, and then Zekken or someone goes crazy for 2 matches.
I agree with ur point but I think to be the 24 edg comparison u have to dominate ur region and make a mid season change. Sen haven’t won their region this year im nitpicking tho ur general point is facts
I feel like champs winners are 1) already be consistent at the top of the region, qualify, and have at least decent showing at internationals and 2) have clear star power (21 cned, 22 aspas/less, 23 demon1, 24 kangkang) and supporting players who are also pretty good and support that star player well.
Sen have already been qualifying and doing decent at internationals and have some definitive star power (zekken/narrate?)
Its just that for me the supporting cast have not been super convincing. if bang and zellsis can show up during champs, sen have a very good shot knowing that both zekken and narrate are at their primes atm
