Why there aren't chinese teams?

cos valorant isnt out yet in china i think

i dont think they have a path to VCT yet, riot might announce it next year because they planned on releasing chinese valorant version + simplified chinese translation iirc

Coz the game launched around APAC lcq(September) and I guess there was some restrictions on games by chinese govt but at the end what happened was they couldnt conduct a tournament so that winners of that tourney would represent China in 2 apax lcq slots so China's slot were given to sea

Chinese teams were set to make their debut in the Asian LCQ along with India, but they gave up their slots due to ping complications amongst other things. Hopefully this means that they’re getting ready to introduce Chinese teams to the scene though.
