i feel like there should be an exception for ascension teams within reason

i feel like 2g definitely could've done better in vct if they had spike from the beginning of the year and if a team like envy won ascension, it would be a waste to throw away young talent from a team that has fought hard to earn their franchise spot for the sole reason they aren't old enough

do CS players need to live in a location full time? or do they do qualifiers online then play LAN for big events

Well, it's an advantage for host country
Juicy could not compete in Pacific 2024 due to age limit law for foreigners in Korea.
Of course, it wasn't affected to Flashback when he was playing in VCL Korea 2023.

VCL..... you mean tier 2? Where all the below 18 pro players are currently at? Where Juicy was at in his time with Bleed? That VCL?

Yes, but you forget: Juicy played VCL MYSG at his home Singapore, and by online. So he was free about work permits.
Also that level but if VCL Korea that is offline, he counldn't.

Yes VCL was the main point here, this bs about host country advantages needs to actually just stop LOL. These kids all got the same opportunities for their teams in VCL thats why they could even play, when it comes to VCT time if any 16y/o kid is in a team that Ascends then even a Korean kid wouldnt be able to play in Tier 1. The rule applies to everyone buddy, nobody under the age of 18 is allowed to play in Tier1. You stated VCL but what kid would go to VCL Korea when he isnt even from Korea or speak the language? This is why they have VCL in their own country/region.
