Where was champs the next year? (2023) NA, and california at that
In 2023, LoL Worlds was held in South Korea, specifically Seoul.
Where was champs the next year? (2024) South Korea, and Seoul exactly as well
In 2024, LoL Worlds was held in EU, with the quarter/semifinals (where 6/7 of the arena matches were played) were held in Paris.
Where is champs this year? (2025) Paris again.
This year, LoL Worlds is being held in Shanghai, and as we all know, China hasn't hosted a Champs yet. Whether it's just chance or Riot does this intentionally because they use LoL as a testing ground for venues/cities idk, but it does seem odd that in all the years post covid, Champs happens to follow LoL Worlds
