Why does primmie get put on sage and not jett on icebox?

I think generally letting him bait is better but sage on icebox is so annoying to play so on that map he should be duelist

He might do way better but the team might suffer… how they play now makes sense; I’d rather not see them comp/role fiddling every chance they get and f them selves by playing multiple comps a map and using the wrong game plans for the comp

dog he was so good on duelist... putting your mechanically best player who likes to play aggro/take timings on the most support heavy util sentinel is not the move... at least let him just perma cypher/kj/chamber and set him up or let him lurk or do anything other than setting up the rest of the team

Chamber sure but typical senti’s no….
They’d just have an op waiting for him cuz u know he wants to take the fight…
Playing deadlock makes sense; on attack they take site he puts trips down as well as the wall, use the net during the exec… enter 2nd or 3rd to trade and have him alive in the clutch situations…
On defence he can anchor sites with his util and or a teammate or push out if they wanna do something aggro…
He doesn’t have to deal with all the util when entering and can take his time to isolate fights better

Deadlock on attack plays a lot like an initi, you need to reactively set up sensors throughout a round as you take space, and both your wall and net are used like a breach stun/kayo knife. Instead a cypher needs to set up like 1-2 flank trips during buy phase, maybe set up cam (depends on map, you could honestly use it after scaling lurk just to apply pressure), and then use your cages just to escape/post. For someone like primmie who likes to take aggro timings and play selfishly a trad senti makes more sense bc you have the freedom to create space by yourself without having to assist the team.
Also about the op, you have cam to clear op lines, and its not like an op is a sage wall, you can post up cypher and send an omen smoke or preflash/scan it when the round starts, the value of a lurk trumps the risk of facing an op.
