It's crazy to me that pacific improving so much compared to americas and emea (excluding fnatic). O think the main factor of this was pacific are being innovative while ame and emea just copy whatever the strongest comp in their region and think they can do it themselves.

liquids "innovation" is just them not knowing what comp they're supposed to play on lotus and saying "fuck it lock reyna"
other then that its the exact same style of play as 2021 with waiting for either the entry duelist or nats to get the opener

the thing is
if you try innovate on a shit team: your team is shit anyways, doesn't matter what comp you play, you're getting rolled, should just copy the meta comp and play something proven to work
if you innovate on a good team: good job! now everyone will copy your comp!
in short, good teams innovate and everyone else copies, if a shit team innovates they suck anyways and makes no difference

I mean it’s Lohan though he is putting good amount ideas there and also they changed the reyna comp already
I mean a lot of times its not even the top teams innovating, its top teams seeing a tier 2 team with a comp or strat that looks good and then taking it and making it their own.
