I think it would be cool for the smaller masters (8 teams) to have a round robin group stage and then playoff bracket (double elim) like the regional leagues in 2023. That would absolutely ensure no fluke runs happen and that the winner is the best team.

it would ruin the meaning of having the best teams in the world earn the righteous spot to be there, plus it would always take way too long, cost way too much, and overall damage the meaning of it being a championship because, to put it bluntly, there are gonna some fuckass terrible teams there
